Welcome To The Cow Page!

Here you can view the cows that reside on our farm.

* Please reach out to us to inquire about available Dexters.  We offer calves at weaning around 6 months old with full registration and DNA testing.  We usually have a wait list for our calves as they come available.

Learn more about the wonderful little Dexter cow HERE!

Meet our Dexters!

Velma is a solidly built, beautiful red cow with a mature height of 42 inches. She is polled, meaning she naturally has no horns, and genetically A1/A1 for beta casein. Velma has consistently delivered healthy heifer calves each year—completely unassisted.

Pictured here at eight years old, she exemplifies the reliability, resilience, and maternal excellence we cherish in our herd.

Shoestring Red Velma

Date of birth 09-17-2016

FF Tillie

Date of birth 08-11-16

Historical Reference Only – Tillie, was an important part of our herd and breeding program. She is now deceased, but we share her photo and details for educational and lineage purposes.

Tillie was a heavily built, short, and impressively wide cow with a gentle temperament. She was A2/A2 and polled, and her calm nature made her a joy to milk right in the pasture.

Abbey (Belfair)

Date of birth 03-02-21

Abbey is a beautiful example of the Belfair breed, combining the best traits of her lineage. She is A2/A2 Beta Casein, polled, and stands at a mature height of 43 inches. Abbey is out of our registered Dexter cow FF Tillie and sired by a registered Mini Jersey bull.

As our family milk cow, Abbey has a gentle temperament and was easy to train for milking. Like her mother, she can be hand-milked right in the pasture. In addition to producing rich, nutritious milk, Abbey reliably raises a big, beefy steer for the freezer each year—making her a true dual-purpose asset to our farm.

Aeveena

Date of birth 03-01-15

Aeveena is a sweet-natured, productive cow with a mature height of 44 inches. She is A2/A2 Beta Casein, and a wonderful addition to our farm.

We purchased Aeveena from a friend in 2024, where she had served as their trusted family milk cow for many years. Her gentle temperament and cooperative nature make her a joy to work with—truly a special little cow.

Pictured here at nearly 10 years old, Aeveena remains both beautiful and productive, continuing to embody the qualities we value most in our herd.

 Genevive

Date of birth 06-30-24

Genevive is a registered Dexter heifer with a bright future ahead. She carries A2/A2 Beta Casein, is polled, and brings together the best of her dam Aeveena’s gentle nature and productive lineage.

We’re excited to be retaining Genevive here on our farm and are expecting great things from her.  Bred to Aspen's Garrett for a summer 2026 calf. Her genetics and temperament make her a valuable part of our future herd.

Eclipse

Date of birth 4-8-24

Eclipse is a young heifer we’re excited to watch mature. She’s A2/A2, polled, and carries the chondro (dwarf) gene, which contributes to her compact frame and exceptional efficiency. Chondro carriers are known for their smaller size, friendly personalities, and ability to thrive on minimal inputs — making them ideal for homesteads and rotational grazing systems.

Pictured here at 17 months and 36" tall, Eclipse is the definition of adorable and already showing the traits we value in our breeding program. She’s bred to Garrett (non-chondro) for a Spring 2026 calf, a pairing that ensures safe genetics while offering the potential for a mid-size, efficient, and family-friendly calf.

SVP Ivalee

Date of birth 5-30-25

Ivalee is another beautiful calf out of our beloved Aeveena, and she’s already showing signs of inheriting her mama’s gentle, people-loving temperament. Calm, curious, and sweet-natured.

She’s A2/A2 & polled. Sired by a bull we raised here on the farm, whose dam is Tillie and sire is SVP Valentino, out of FF Taco Toro.

At this stage, she’s already earned her spot in our future plans — a true keeper. Her full pedigree will be posted soon, and we’re excited to watch her mature into the kind of cow that reflects the best of her lineage: friendly, efficient, and built for the homestead life.

A2/A2 and Homo Polled.  Dunn colored.  Current height 43".  Extremely docile.

FF Freedom’s Lil’ Romeo is our very own registered Dexter bull, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have this special little guy in our herd. Romeo brings compact size, gentle temperament, and excellent conformation to our breeding program.

Sired by FF Freedom’s Friday Night, Romeo carries highly regarded Dexter genetics known for both beef and dairy versatility. His lineage is prized for producing animals with strong maternal traits, efficient frame, and rich milk quality.

We’re excited to see his influence in our upcoming calves and look forward to watching his legacy grow within our herd.

FF Taco Toro

Photo was taken at 15 months old.  What a stunner! We love everything about this little bull and can't wait to see his calves! It's amazing to see our animals finish like this on grass only! Like all the animals on our farm Taco matured beautifully without a bite of grain!
